In today’s fast-paced world, we understand that people and businesses are busier than ever.  That is why we created Savvy Services.  Located in Portland, Oregon, we are a boutique concierge & personal assistant service who can help you streamline and organize everything from daily chores to a dinner party.  We build relationships with our clients – from busy professionals, to on-the-go families, to travelers – to anticipate their needs and cater to their personal preferences.

A former resident of Pennsylvania, and a well-traveled woman otherwise, Carolyn Allen has called Portland home since late 2008.

Carolyn thrives on helping others and brings over three decades of expertise in the service industry, holding positions such as Nurses Aid, Travel Agent, Assistant Manager for banquets at county clubs, nanny and Office manager. Once an EMT, Carolyn’s passion for serving others has helped shape her career and led to the creation of Savvy Services.

Her interests include the care and maintenance of both fresh and saltwater fish tanks along with helping out on several fish websites as an advisor and administrator.  She currently maintains a home in NW Portland with a husband and two cats.

Sarah has had a love for event planning since she took a job in high school as a delivery driver at a local flower shop.  The excitement of watching people prepare for proms and weddings stayed with Sarah as she then moved into a management role in hospitality where she fine tuned her organizational and guest service skills.

Sarah pursued a B.A. in Art History while acting as chief concierge at a boutique AAA four Diamond property in downtown Portland, Oregon, starting in 2005.  Sarah was sad to leave the hotel in 2011, but stays busy with her young daughter Amelia and her husband Michael.
